Esta imponente y robusta casa de piedra arenisca del siglo XIX estaba destinada a todos los servicios administrativos.
El escudo de armas de la ciudad se exhibe frente al ayuntamiento. Algunos datan de 1407.
"Boca de dragón de cola bifurcada plateada y 3 piezas de azur en escabeche".
Durante la Batalla de las Ardenas en diciembre de 1944 , el 90% de la ciudad fue destruida . 114 residentes perdieron la vida. Debido a este trágico evento, la ciudad de La Roche es reconocida oficialmente como la "Ciudad de los Mártires" y recibe la "Croix de Guerre de 1940" que aparece en el escudo de armas de la ciudad.
En 1951 se adosó a la fachada del ayuntamiento la cruz militar de 1940 con palmeras.
