El centro de la ruta Molenland es la ciudad provincial de Tielt, en Flandes Occidental. En el suroeste de Flandes hay todavía muchos molinos de viento. Muchos de ellos siguen en funcionamiento. Una ruta de aproximadamente 80 km nos lleva por los lugares más hermosos de la región, como Ruiselede, Kanegem, Poeke (en Flandes Oriental) y muchos más.
