Il centro della Molenlandroute è la cittadina provinciale di Tielt nel West Vlaanderen. Nella parte sud-ovest del Vlaanderen ci sono ancora molte pale eoliche. Molti di esse sono ancora in funzione. Un percorso di circa 80 km ci porta attraverso i luoghi più belli della regione come Ruiselede, Kanegem, Poeke (nella provincia dell'Est Vlaanderen) e molti altri.
