Las Cataratas Takakkaw en el Parque Nacional Yoho son espectaculares y definitivamente vale la pena visitarlas. La cascada es visible desde la carretera del Valle Yoho (¡no siempre abierta!) y, especialmente, el "agua saltando" en una plataforma natural la hace impresionante. Altura total: 384 metros. Caída libre de agua más larga: 254 metros. (Cifras de wikipedia 2012.) Las cataratas Takakkaw son el número dos de Canadá Occidental en términos de altura.
Las Cataratas Takakkaw aparecieron en la película "Last of the Dogmen" (1995, escrita y dirigida por Tab Murphy).
