De Takakkaw Falls in Yoho National Park zijn spectaculair en zeker de moeite waard om te bezoeken. De waterval is zichtbaar vanaf de Yoho Valley Road (niet altijd open!) en vooral het "springende water" op een natuurlijk platform maakt het indrukwekkend. Totale hoogte: 384 meter. Langste vrije val van water: 254 meter. (Cijfers wikipedia 2012.) De Takakkaw Falls zijn nummer twee in West-Canada qua hoogte.
De Takakkaw Falls werden uitgelicht in de film "Last of the Dogmen" (1995, geschreven en geregisseerd door Tab Murphy).
