El palacio de Aquisgrán era todo un conjunto de edificaciones de tipo residencial, político y religioso que fue erigido por el emperador Carlomagno como centro del poder carolingio. El palacio en cuestión se hallaba ubicado en la actual ciudad de Aquisgrán, en el oeste de Alemania, en el actual estado federado de Renania del Norte-Westfalia. Las partes esenciales del palacio carolingio fueron construidas en la última década del siglo VIII, pero los trabajos tuvieron continuidad hasta la muerte del propio emperador Carlomagno en el año 814.
