La Hohe Egge entre Bad Münder am Deister, Hameln y Hessisch Oldendorf en el distrito de Hameln-Pyrmont, en Baja Sajonia, es con algo más de 440 m sobre el nivel del mar la elevación más alta de la cordillera Süntel del Calenberger Bergland.
La Hohe Egge y el Süntel pertenecen, debido a su altitud de más de 300 m, a las montañas/cordilleras geográficamente más prominentes del norte de Alemania. En la cumbre sur se encuentra la torre de observación Süntelturm con un restaurante de montaña anexo, y en la cumbre norte una antigua torre de radar como resto de una base anterior del Ejército de EE. UU. En la ladera norte-noreste se encuentra el restaurante de montaña Eulenflucht y un poco más abajo de este, el restaurante forestal Bergschmiede.
