Aparte del arte aplicado en la Hochschule, está la famosa Akademie de Arte, donde estudiaron grandes nombres como Gerhard Richter y Sigmar Polke. “La Akademie de Arte es una de las cosas más importantes de la ciudad. Dos veces al año, la academia exhibe el trabajo de sus estudiantes y siempre es el lugar donde hay que estar. Debes ir a ver en un día de semana, porque los fines de semana es prácticamente imposible entrar. Todos están ocupados en esas semanas haciendo juicios y discutiendo si fue un buen año o no.
