La estación de tren de Allendorf se encuentra al sur del pueblo de Allendorf, en el distrito de Waldeck-Frankenberg, en el norte de Hesse. Está situada en la bifurcación de la línea de ferrocarril de Oberen Edertalbahn desde la línea Nuttlar-Frankenberg y está bajo protección patrimonial.
El 22 de enero de 1906 se inició la construcción del último tramo de la línea Nuttlar-Frankenberg entre Bromskirchen y Frankenberg. Durante los trabajos, se alojaron hasta 600 trabajadores extranjeros en Allendorf. El 1 de diciembre de 1908 se inauguró la línea. El 17 de noviembre de 1910 se puso en funcionamiento el primer tramo de la línea de tren que se bifurca en Allendorf hacia Bad Berleburg hasta Hatzfeld, y el 15 de agosto de 1911 se completó toda la línea.
