El castillo de Kellenberg es un castillo de agua en el borde norte del pueblo de Barmen, un distrito de Jülich, a orillas del Rur.
Los propietarios originales de la fortaleza Kellenberg fueron primero el señor Edmund von Barmen y posteriormente Gerhard Mulart von Hullhoven. A través del matrimonio de su hija, pasó a Wilhelm von Wevelinghoven, el mariscal del herencia de Colonia en 1429, luego a Scheiffardt von Merode, bajo cuyo mandato se construyó la actual estructura en los siglos XV y XVI.
