Le château de Kellenberg est un château d'eau situé à l'extrémité nord du village de Barmen, un quartier de Jülich, sur la Rur.
Les premiers propriétaires de la forteresse de Kellenberg étaient d'abord le seigneur Edmund de Barmen, suivi de Gerhard Mulart de Hullhoven. Par le mariage de sa fille, il est passé à Wilhelm de Wevelinghoven, le maréchal hébreux de Cologne en 1429, puis à Scheiffardt de Merode, sous lequel l'aménagement actuel a été créé aux 15ème et 16ème siècles.
