El castillo de Groß Leuthen es un castillo de agua en el Spreewald. Está ubicado en Groß Leuthen a la orilla del lago Groß Leuthener, a 15 kilómetros al noreste de Lübben. Sus partes más antiguas datan de la Edad Media. La mayor parte de la edificación consiste en una construcción renacentista con una torre de escaleras y una torre residencial construida en el estilo del historicismo por Bodo Ebhardt en 1913.
En 1368, Leuthen fue mencionado por primera vez con "Tammo von deme Luthen". En ese momento todavía pertenecía a la condado de Lübben. A lo largo de la Edad Media, se formó un área de dominio propia, que en el siglo XVI incluía las aldeas de Groß Leuthen, Bückchen, Dollgen, Guhlen, Klein Leine, Klein Leuthen y Ressen.
