Bralitz es un distrito de Bad Freienwalde. El pueblo se encuentra a unos cinco kilómetros de Bad Freienwalde, a orillas del Alten Oder.
En el área del actual pueblo se han encontrado campos de tumbas de la Edad del Bronce media. No muy lejos de estos campos de tumbas se descubrió una cerámica de la Edad del Bronce tardía y otro campo de tumbas de la Edad del Hierro temprana. El actual pueblo a orillas del Alten Oder fue construido por los eslavos y se mencionó por primera vez en documentos en 1337 como Gralizen. En ese momento, el pueblo pertenecía a Nicolaus Witte, y en el siglo XIV pasó a ser propiedad de la familia Uchtenhagen. En el año 1604, el pueblo fue vendido al elector Joaquín Federico.
