Bralitz is een wijk van Bad Freienwalde. Het dorp ligt ongeveer vijf kilometer van Bad Freienwalde, aan de Alte Oder.
Op het grondgebied van het huidige dorp zijn begraafvelden uit de midden-bronstijd gevonden. Niet ver van deze begraafvelden werd keramiek uit de latere bronstijd en een ander begraafveld uit de vroege ijzertijd ontdekt. Het huidige dorp aan de Alte Oder werd door Wenden gebouwd en werd in 1337 voor het eerst schriftelijk vermeld als Gralizen. Het dorp behoorde toen tot Nicolaus Witte, in de 14e eeuw kwam het in het bezit van de familie Uchtenhagen. In 1604 werd het dorp verkocht aan keurvorst Joachim Friedrich.
