Bralitz est un quartier de Bad Freienwalde . Le village est situé à environ cinq kilomètres de Bad Freienwalde sur le Vieil Oder.
Dans la région du village actuel, des cimetières de l’âge du bronze moyen ont été trouvés. Non loin de ces cimetières, des poteries de la fin de l’âge du bronze et un autre cimetière du début de l’âge du fer ont été découverts. Le village actuel sur l’Ancien Oder a été construit par Wenden et mentionné pour la première fois dans un document en 1337 sous le nom de Gralizen. À cette époque, le village appartenait à Nicolaus Witte, et au 14ème siècle, il est entré en possession de la famille Uchtenhagen. En 1604, le village a été vendu à l’électeur Joachim Friedrich.
