Tudderen es un pueblo que forma la localidad principal del municipio alemán de Selfkant en el distrito de Heinsberg en el estado de Renania del Norte-Westfalia. Tudderen es una de las aldeas más occidentales de Alemania, después de las aldeas vecinas Isenbruch y Millen. Está justo en la frontera con los Países Bajos, a menos de un kilómetro del área urbana de Sittard. De 1949 a 1963, Tudderen, junto con el resto de Selfkant, perteneció a los Países Bajos como el 'Drostambt Tudderen'. Los lazos con Sittard se remontan mucho más atrás. Selfkant formaba parte del ducado de Gulik junto con Sittard, Susteren y Born durante siglos. Esta región fue hasta 1815 el hinterland administrativo de Sittard.
