Tudderen è un paese che costituisce il capoluogo del comune tedesco di Selfkant nel distretto di Heinsberg nel Land della Renania Settentrionale-Vestfalia. Tudderen è uno dei villaggi situati più a ovest della Germania, dopo i vicini villaggi di Isenbruch e Millen. Si trova proprio al confine con i Paesi Bassi, a meno di un chilometro dall'abitato di Sittard. Dal 1949 al 1963 Tudderen, insieme al resto della Selfkant, faceva parte dei Paesi Bassi come "Drostambt Tudderen". I legami con Sittard risalgono a molto tempo fa. La Selfkant faceva parte, insieme a Sittard, Susteren e Born, del ducato di Guelders per secoli. Questa regione è stata fino al 1815 l'entroterra amministrativo di Sittard.
