Pfronten-Ried 04806) es una de las dos estaciones de Pfronten. Se encuentra en la línea Außerfernbahn y fue hasta 1905 su estación terminal. El edificio de la estación, así como los otros edificios de la estación, han sido incluidos en la lista de monumentos históricos. La superficie de la estación es en su mayor parte de propiedad municipal.
Después de que en la década de 1880 fracasaran los intentos de construir un "ferrocarril" de Kempten a través del paso del Fern hasta Innsbruck, en 1895 se inauguró la sección de la línea Kempten–Pfronten-Ried. Diez años después, la línea se extendió hasta Reutte en Tirol, convirtiendo a Pfronten-Ried en una estación de paso.
Hasta la década de 1970, hubo principalmente trenes de vacaciones que circulaban de Kempten a Pfronten, que también operaban con los conocidos trenes TEE.
