La estación de tren de Querfurt se encuentra en la línea de tren Merseburg–Querfurt y en la línea de tren, que está desactivada en este tramo, Röblingen am See–Vitzenburg. El antiguo edificio de recepción está registrado en el registro de monumentos local con el número de identificación 094 16626 como monumento arquitectónico.
La estación se puso en funcionamiento con la apertura del ferrocarril estatal prusiano Oberröblingen – Querfurt en octubre de 1884, extendiéndose hasta Vitzenburg el 1 de julio de 1904. En 1911, se añadió la línea de Merseburg.
