Saalhausen es una localidad del municipio de Lennestadt, en el distrito de Olpe, en Renania del Norte-Westfalia, con 1760 habitantes a 30 de junio de 2020, siendo la proporción de personas mayores del 20,1 % relativamente alta.
Saalhausen se encuentra a unos dos kilómetros al sur de Hohen Lehnberg, que forma parte de las montañas de Saalhausen. Está situada en el alto valle de Lennetal, entre Altenhundem y Schmallenberg, a una altitud de 320 m sobre el nivel del mar. Los pueblos vecinos son Gleierbrück, Bracht, Störmecke y Milchenbach. A través del pueblo pasa la carretera federal 236.
