Saalhausen est un quartier de la ville de Lennestadt, située dans le district d'Olpe en Rhénanie-du-Nord-Westphalie, compte 1760 habitants au 30 juin 2020, dont la part des personnes âgées est relativement élevée à 20,1 %.
Saalhausen se trouve à environ deux kilomètres au sud du Hohen Lehnberg, qui fait partie des montagnes de Saalhausen. Il est situé dans la vallée supérieure du Lenntal entre Altenhundem et Schmallenberg à une altitude de 320 m au-dessus du niveau de la mer. Les villages voisins sont Gleierbrück, Bracht, Störmecke et Milchenbach. La route fédérale 236 traverse le village.
