Kessel es un barrio de la ciudad de Goch en el distrito de Kleve, Renania del Norte-Westfalia. El pueblo tiene 2134 habitantes. En el concurso "Nuestro pueblo tiene futuro", el lugar ganó una medalla de oro en 2006 junto a otros siete pueblos de Renania del Norte-Westfalia.
Al igual que Goch, Kessel también se encuentra junto al Niers. Además del propio lugar, las partes Nergena y Grunewald pertenecen a este. El límite occidental del lugar es también la frontera con los Países Bajos, con las localidades de Ottersum y Gennep. Al noroeste, el bosque imperial limita con el lugar.
