El Canal de Saimaa es un canal de transporte que conecta el lago Saimaa con el Golfo de Finlandia cerca de Vyborg, Rusia. El canal fue construido de 1845 a 1856 y se inauguró el 7 de septiembre de 1856.
Se renovó y amplió entre 1963 y 1968.
A través del canal se accede a un sistema de vías navegables interiores y canales en los 120 lagos interconectados de la parte sur-central y sudeste de Finlandia. La red de canales profundos en el lago Saimaa, con un calado de al menos 4.2 metros, cubre 814 kilómetros. Los canales profundos se extienden hasta Kuopio en Finlandia Central.
