Misiones de lectura pública
Las bibliotecas de Amiens Métropole son un servicio público encargado de contribuir al ocio, la información, la investigación documental, la formación continua y las actividades culturales de la población.
Su vocación es dar a la gente el gusto por la lectura, participar en la apertura al mundo y ser un lugar de conocimiento.
A través de sus actividades relacionadas con los libros, las bibliotecas aportan conciencia y conocimiento a todos.
Misiones patrimoniales
Las bibliotecas de Amiens Métropole custodian los fondos patrimoniales y se encargan de recoger los objetos impresos en Picardía o relacionados con Picardía. En el marco de un acuerdo con la Bibliothèque nationale de France, las Bibliotecas de Amiens Métropole son el centro de impresión jurídica de Picardía.
