La batalla de Crécy tuvo lugar el 26 de agosto de 1346 en el noreste de Francia y enfrentó a un ejército francés mandado por el rey Felipe VI con otro inglés dirigido por el rey Eduardo III. Los franceses atacaron a los ingleses mientras estos saqueaban el norte de Francia durante la guerra de los Cien Años, pero el enfrentamiento resultó en una victoria inglesa y una gran pérdida de vidas entre los franceses.
