Antecedentes :
La iglesia fue consagrada en 873 por Sigebod, arzobispo de Narbona, en presencia de Golferic, abad del monasterio de Saint Jacques de Joco, y de los condes Guifred el Velloso, Miro I, Oliba II y Acfred de Carcassonne Rasès, que mandaron construir la iglesia.
Fue consagrada de nuevo en 1019, tras una ampliación realizada por el arzobispo de Narbona Guifred.
