El Château de la Porte Mars es una antigua residencia de los arzobispos de la ciudad francesa de Reims. La fecha de inicio de la construcción no se conoce con precisión hasta la fecha; las primeras fortificaciones podrían haber sido establecidas ya en 1170, pero la fecha de 1228 se mantiene con más frecuencia. Prosper Tarbé data la primera construcción de este castillo o un edificio anterior alrededor de 922-927. Es Henri de Braine, entonces arzobispo de Reims, quien inicia la construcción de este castillo; incluye entonces el arco de triunfo romano que ya estaba presente en la muralla desde la construcción de la cerca en el siglo IV. En ese momento, era una de las grandes fortalezas del noreste de Francia.
