El Fuerte de la Pompelle, también conocido como Fuerte Herbillon, es uno de varios fuertes construidos alrededor de Reims después de 1870 como parte de un cinturón de fortificación en el sistema Séré de Rivières. Los fuertes vieron combate durante la Primera Guerra Mundial en la defensa de Reims. El fuerte está ubicado a unos 2 kilómetros al norte de la localidad de Sillery, junto a la carretera N44, entre Reims y Châlons-en-Champagne. Construido como una posición de apoyo para fuertes más grandes y desarmado en 1913, fue el que más combates vio de los fuertes de Reims. Fue bombardeado durante la guerra y permanece en estado de ruina.
