El Queyras es un valle del departamento de Hautes-Alpes, pero también un parque natural regional, donde se practica el esquí en invierno y senderismo en verano. Está atravesado por el GR 58 que permite dar la vuelta o el GR 5.
El valle está atravesado por el Guil y cuenta con ocho municipios que hoy forman parte de una comunidad de comunas: Arvieux, Abriès, Aiguilles, Ceillac, Château-Ville-Vieille, Molines-en-Queyras, Ristolas y Saint-Véran. Ceillac no formaba parte del Queyras histórico: pertenecía al obispado de Embrun (y no de Briançon) y no entraba en el escarton del Queyras.
