De Queyras is een vallei in het departement Hautes-Alpes, maar ook een regionaal natuurpark, waar in de winter aan skiën wordt gedaan en in de zomer aan wandelen. Het wordt onder andere doorkruist door de GR 58, die het mogelijk maakt om eromheen te lopen, of de GR 5.
De vallei wordt doorkruist door de Guil en telt vandaag de dag acht gemeentes die zijn samengevoegd in een intergemeentelijke samenwerking: Arvieux, Abriès, Aiguilles, Ceillac, Château-Ville-Vieille, Molines-en-Queyras, Ristolas en Saint-Véran. Ceillac maakte geen deel uit van het historische Queyras: het behoorde tot het bisdom Embrun (en niet Briançon) en maakte geen deel uit van het escarton van het Queyras.
