Antoine Marie Jean-Baptiste Roger Conde de Saint-Exupéry[1] fue un aviador y escritor francés, autor de la famosa obra El principito.[2]
Antoine, que pronto quedó huérfano de padre, se crio en el entorno femenino de una familia aristocrática arruinada de la ciudad de Lyon . Terminó el bachillerato en 1917, en el colegio marianista Villa Saint-Jean de Friburgo y, tras ser rechazado en la Escuela naval, se hizo piloto cuando estaba cumpliendo el servicio militar en 1921, en Estrasburgo.[3]
