La iglesia de San Martín se encuentra en el lugar del antiguo edificio que fue volado en 1917. Cuando se elaboró el plan de urbanización, el jurado optó por conservar el lugar para garantizar la continuidad de la historia de la ciudad y no perturbar los hitos de los antiguos habitantes ; Dos elementos decorativos en el portal principal creados por el escultor Jaques: la iglesia devastada y la iglesia reconstruida. El San Martín de la antigua iglesia se encuentra sobre la puerta de la actual sacristía de la calle Moinets. La sociedad cooperativa de iglesias devastadas seleccionó el proyecto del arquitecto Regis Jardel durante el concurso de 1922. Se consagró el 30 de enero de 1927.
