Mencionado sólo en 1370, el castillo de Frauenberg fue construido probablemente a finales del siglo XIII. Fue desmantelado en 1634. El castillo albergaba dos hornos de una fábrica de loza que funcionó en Frauenberg de 1785 a 1791, y que luego se trasladó a Vaudrevange (Wallerfangen, Sarre), esta fábrica fue el origen de la famosa firma de cerámica Villeroy y Boch. A partir de 1793, el paso de las tropas completó la ruina del castillo a lo largo del siglo XIX.
