Las Halles de Béziers, de tipo Baltard, fueron construidas en 1891. Se renovaron completamente un siglo después, en 1987. Ahora figuran en el inventario suplementario de monumentos históricos.
En la Edad Media, la iglesia de Saint-Félix (románica) se encontraba en el lugar del mercado cubierto. Fue aquí donde, el 7 de abril de 1247, el vizconde de Béziers, Raimundo II Trencavel, tras un último estallido de rebeldía contra el poder del rey de Francia, entregó su vizcondado a Saint-Louis.
La iglesia fue arrasada en 1815 y el lugar se convirtió en un cementerio para los pobres. Y así se abrieron las Halles de Béizrs. Hoy en día, albergan 21 puestos de comerciantes y productores locales, que atraen a los habitantes cada día.
