El Monte Habend, también conocido como Saint-Mont, es un lugar sagrado situado a 672 m de altitud en el municipio de Saint-Amé, al sur del macizo del Fossard. El lugar ofrece unas vistas excepcionales de los valles del Mosela y la Moselotte, y ha estado ocupado desde la antigüedad.
En 620, Amé, monje predicador, y Romarico, noble de Austrasia, fundaron aquí un monasterio doble, siguiendo la regla austera de Saint-Colomban. El monasterio femenino fue trasladado en 819, pero el lugar siguió siendo un lugar de peregrinación durante varios siglos.
Excavaciones recientes han sacado a la luz una necrópolis funeraria del primer milenio y vestigios de varios edificios medievales. El yacimiento, declarado monumento protegido, esconde muchos secretos, entre ellos el mayor grupo de Formae (tumbas funerarias de monjas) jamás descubierto.
Sólo se puede acceder a Saint-Mont a pie, bien por la capilla de Vieux Saint-Amé, bien por Saint-Étienne-Lès-Remiremont
