La casa situada entre el patio y el jardín fue construida en 1537 por Saladin d'Anglure, barón de Bourlémont; restaurada, conserva sus vigas y capiteles, y sirve de escaparate a una importante colección de esculturas que datan de los siglos XII al XVIII.
Tras los estragos de la Guerra de los Treinta Años, la mansión de la calle fue reconstruida y decorada en el siglo XVIII por miembros de la familia Collenel, ennoblecida en 1702. La puerta monumental, fechada en 1758, conserva su decoración animal, y el comedor cuenta con un magnífico armario bufé de demostración.
Vendido como bien nacional en 1795, el Hôtel Collenel sólo ha experimentado mejoras estéticas desde entonces. Esta residencia privada, joya de la corona de la plaza Jeanne d'Arc, está abierta gratuitamente para visitas guiadas en temporada.
