Construido a finales del siglo XVI, el hotel conocido como las "Dos Sirenas" toma su nombre de una escultura de la esquina que no representa a dos sirenas sino a dos Tritones abrazados.
La puerta de entrada, ricamente esculpida, está adornada con una cabeza de indio que lleva una fresa, un collar muy de moda en la época.
En esta casa se refugiaron el duque de Lorena Nicolas-François (1634) y su esposa Claude de Lorena, hija del duque Enrique II, de los franceses, que ocuparon Nancy y vieron con malos ojos su matrimonio. En la noche del 31 de marzo al 1 de abril de 1634, la pareja ducal, disfrazada de plebeyos, abandonó Nancy y se dirigió a Florencia.
