El Museo de Instrumentos Musicales nació de una donación de Marcel ANGOT, músico y compositor de Aigle. El Sr. Angot era un apasionado músico y compositor de Aigle que había reunido una importante colección que la ciudad de Aigle heredó en 1983. La colección ANGOT consta de unos 90 instrumentos musicales presentados en una vitrina. De esta rica colección surgen tres temas organológicos principales: los instrumentos de viento, los de cuerda y los étnicos. Estos instrumentos musicales, de origen y construcción muy variados, ofrecen un notable panorama del mundo instrumental, pasado y presente.
