Le musée des Instruments de Musique est né d'une donation de Marcel ANGOT, musicien et compositeur aiglon. Passionné, Monsieur ANGOT avait réuni une importante collection dont la ville de l'Aigle hérita en 1983. Le fonds ANGOT est constitué d'environ 90 instruments de musique présentés sous une vitrine. Trois grands thèmes organologiques ressortent de cette riche collection, les instruments à vents, les instruments à cordes, les instruments ethniques. De factures et d'origine très variées, ces instruments de musique offrent un remarquable panorama de l'univers instrumental passé et présent.
