En Ambrus, se entra en el bosque de las Landas, con sus vastas plantaciones de pinos y sus arroyos. Desde muy pronto, los refugios rocosos del Avizón y del Rusthe sirvieron de refugio al hombre prehistórico. Más tarde, los galos hicieron de Ambrus un lugar de culto por la presencia de numerosas fuentes veneradas.
A pocos pasos de la iglesia, se conserva una de estas fuentes con virtudes terapéuticas. Desde tiempos inmemoriales, los peregrinos han venido aquí para pedir deseos y lanzar una moneda. Usted puede hacer lo mismo en este bucólico y secreto lugar.
