El Priorato de San Juan en dos continentes
Uno de los monumentos catalogados más antiguos de Poitou, con casi mil años de antigüedad. Construido en el siglo XI, el Prieuré Saint-Jean es en realidad una vasta Abadía ricamente dotada del origen de los vinos de la denominación Anjou del sector norte de Vienne; los monjes benedictinos de la Abadía de BOURGUEIL importaron el primer plan de viñedos en 1076 e innovaron construyendo una arquitectura notable y única que identifica el período de transición del fin del románico y el comienzo del arte gótico para el oeste de Francia.
