Enclavado a los pies del Monte Sainte-Odile, Saint-Nabor es un tranquilo pueblecito rodeado de bosques y viñedos. La historia y la posteridad del pueblo están ligadas al monasterio de Niedermunster, hoy en ruinas. Santa Odile lo transformó en hospicio. Se utilizaba como hospicio para los enfermos que no podían llegar a la montaña. La pequeña capilla de Saint-Nicolas, situada bajo las ruinas, es un monumento románico perfectamente restaurado.
