El tribunal cantonal se construyó en el emplazamiento de una casa que sirvió como registro del bailliage episcopal de Marckolsheim hasta la Revolución, y luego como escuela de niños desde 1806 hasta 1857. Este edificio alberga el despacho del juez de paz y la sala de vistas, antes situada en el ayuntamiento. El edificio legal, construido en sillar, tiene un balcón rodeado por dos pilastras con capiteles foliados y cabezas de querubines y coronado por un frontón. Detrás del edificio de los tribunales se encuentra el antiguo edificio de la prisión, construido al mismo tiempo a mediados del siglo XIX.
