Este museo tiene una historia original, un verdadero cuento de hadas: es un anexo del museo histórico de Mulhouse creado por un sacerdote enamorado de su tierra y deseoso de conservar los testigos y las costumbres de antaño.
Se encuentra en una casa de campo bellamente restaurada.
