La capilla se construyó en la antigua Fosse des Trépassés, una de las canteras de pizarra más importantes de la ciudad en el siglo XVIII. El tejado de pizarra presenta una cruz. Frente a esta capilla, descubrirás lo que se conoce como verdeau, es decir, un montón de restos de pizarra inservibles, que forman una especie de montón de escoria. Pero ten cuidado... No los llames escoriales. En la jerga de los canteros de pizarra, estas colinas artificiales formadas por la acumulación de residuos de pizarra son, en efecto, verdeaux. Tenga en cuenta: La capilla se encuentra en la calle Sainte-Barbe, frente a la calle de los jardineros.
