Ville sur Lumes es un pueblo situado entre Charleville-Mézières y Vrigne aux Bois, este municipio tiene 517 habitantes. En 1956 se desenterraron los restos arqueológicos de un vicus galo organizado en torno a un fanum. Puedes descubrir: - templos, - hornos de alfarero, - restos de un horno metalúrgico, - viviendas con restos de sótanos, - un colector de agua de manantial con acueductos, - una cisterna, - restos de alcantarillas, - un tesoro monetario, - fíbulas, hebillas de cinturón, etc., - dos necrópolis, - una calzada romana Reims-Colonia, - un enorme foso del Bajo Imperio, que rodea en parte el vicus, - agujeros de poste de viviendas del Bajo Imperio.
