La piedra Chaud-Costet, a veces llamada Pierre Charlemagne, es un enorme bloque de granito (unos 4 m x 6 m) de forma redondeada.
Tiene una leyenda asociada:
¿Sabía que en Le Tholy los bebés no nacían en coles, ni los traían las cigüeñas como en otros sitios?
Nacían bajo la piedra Chaud-Costet y era allí donde las comadronas iban a buscarlos al amanecer. Al menos, eso es lo que los padres solían contar a sus hijos. La prueba, añadían, era que si se acercaba la oreja a la grieta de la piedra en un día de viento, se oía el llanto de los recién nacidos.
