El Monte de San Miguel es una isla tidal situada a 366 m (400 yd) de la costa de la Bahía de Mount en Cornwall. Está unida a Marazion por un dique artificial, que solo se puede transitar en la marea baja, hecho de pavimentos de granito. La isla presenta una combinación de pizarra y granito.
Históricamente, el Monte de San Miguel era el equivalente cornish del Monte Saint Michel en Normandía, Francia.
El Monte podría ser el Mictis de Timeo, mencionado por Plinio el Viejo en su Naturalis Historia. El griego Piteas visitó la isla en el siglo IV a.C.
Las exposiciones rocosas alrededor del Monte de San Miguel están compuestas por la parte más alta de una intrusión de granito en lodos o pelitas devonianos metamorfoseados. El granito está mineralizado con un sistema de vetas de greisen bien desarrollado.
