La Mermaid Inn es una posada histórica con una clasificación de Grado II*, situada en Mermaid Street en la ciudad antigua de Rye, East Sussex, en el sureste de Inglaterra. Una de las posadas más conocidas en el sureste de Inglaterra, fue fundada en el siglo XII y tiene una larga y tumultuosa historia. El edificio actual data de 1420 y presenta adiciones del siglo XVI en estilo Tudor, pero se han conservado las bodegas construidas en 1156. La posada tiene una fuerte conexión con la infame banda de contrabandistas Hawkhurst Gang, que la utilizó en las décadas de 1730 y 1740 como uno de sus bastiones: Rye fue un próspero puerto durante este período. Algunos de los contrabandistas, sus amantes y otros personajes solían frecuentar la posada.
El restaurante galardonado con una Rosette de AA sirve cocina británica y francesa y exhibe obras de arte medieval en el interior de la Slade School of Fine Art. Ha estado en posesión de Judith Blincow desde 1993.
