El Lexkesveer es el servicio de ferry entre Wageningen y Randwijk a través del Nederrijn. El servicio de ferry ya existía en la Edad Media. Dado que al norte desde el ferry hay una ruta prehistórica que sigue la ladera de la Veluwe hacia el norte, se puede deducir que posiblemente ya existía un lugar de paso por el río en el Lexkesveer. En el lado de Wageningen del Lexkesveer también había un hotel y una piscina antes de la Segunda Guerra Mundial. Además, todavía se encuentra en ese lado la antigua casa del ferry.
